Communities in Schools: Meeting Students Where They Are
Communities in Schools (CIS) is more than a program—it's a lifeline. By placing dedicated case managers directly on our campuses, CIS addresses the real barriers that prevent students from showing up ready to learn.
The question CIS asks is simple but powerful: Why? Why can't a student focus in class? Why are they missing school? Then, CIS works tirelessly to remove those obstacles, creating pathways to success for every child.
Comprehensive Support for Students and Families
Communities in Schools provides support that extends far beyond the classroom walls. Our case managers work directly with students and their families to address immediate needs and long-term challenges.
Nutritional Support
Food for school lunches, take-home dinners, weekend meals, and holiday food packages ensuring no child goes hungry
Financial Assistance
Help with medical bills, utility payments, and emergency financial needs to stabilize family situations
Essential Resources
Personal hygiene items, clothing, school supplies, and other necessities for learning and dignity
Mental Health Counseling
